Not much information is available for Lanell. She was last seen on Monday June 7, 2004. Her husband reported her missing at 8pm after she failed to appear at their second home in Buda, Texas. When questioned, neighbors and family members said they had not seen or heard from her and she missed appointments she had scheduled that Wednesday and Thursday. Extensive searches were held and her Toyota Truck was found at about 1 and 1/2 miles downstream of the Sims Creek low water crossing on CR 2109 that Sunday, June 13th, by Lampasas County Deputies and Parks and Wildlife. They had searched the creek because heavy rains that Wednesday, June 9th, had caused heavy flooding near their new home site.
