During the summer of 1990 Deanna was staying with her Grandmother on Alamo Ave in Killeen, TX due to family problems. Her mother was an alcoholic and Deanna was reportedly sexually abused. Because of this her and her sister Rebecca moved between various relatives homes.
On the night of July 21st, 1990 after her Grandmother went to bed, Deanna snuck out to visit her twin sister, Rebecca. Rebecca was staying with and Uncle at the Oak Springs Trailer Park on the 500 block of Dimple St. She arrived at 3:30am in a brown or bronze four door vehicle accompanied by two white or hispanic men. After waking Rebecca, they talked for a while. Deanna then left with the men after her Uncle was awakened by their talking. She was never to be seen again.
In 1992, Rebecca received a collect call from Horse Cave, Kentucky by someone identifying as Deanna but the person hung up before the call fully connected. This lead was investigated but the caller was never identified.
During her own investigation, Rebecca later learned that police in Hurst, TX in 1995 ran Deanna’s name and birthday during a traffic stop.
A relative stated that sometime between 2000-2002 Deanna visited and stated she did not want to be found and it was noted that she had gotten several more tattoos. THis story, however, was never verified.
If you have any information on Deanna or her whereabouts, please contact:
Killeen Police Department - 254-501-8891
To clarify: Deanna was not “reportedly” sexually abused. She was abused and that abuse resulted in the conviction of her stepfather who still has to register as a sex offender annually.
Her sister Rebecca was not the one who was investigating and learned about the Hurst, TX incident. This incident was later verified to NOT be Deanna.
The person who claimed to be visited between 2000-2002 was NOT a relative.
